FREEMANSBURG, Pa. – One person was transported to the hospital following a pedestrian accident in Northampton County.
A county dispatcher confirms a person was hit a by vehicle in the 700 block of Washington Street.
The accident occurred just before 6 p.m., and emergency crews from Freemansburg and Bethlehem Township responded.
No word on whether the driver stayed on scene, but Freemansburg Police are handling the investigation.
Washington Street was closed for about an hour, but is now re-open to traffic.
