OBITUARY
Annie A. Yerger, 92, of Boyertown, wife of the late Carl D. Yerger, passed away Wednesday
November 12, 2025 at Willow Brook Rehabilitation in Kutztown.
Born in Oley, she was the daughter of the late Lester D. and Katie C. (Strunk) Houp.
Annie enjoyed sewing and quilting. She was a skillful baker and cook as well.
Surviving is her daughter Virginia Gamler; brothers James I. Houp of Florida and Carl Houp
husband of Joy of Florida; sister Esther Brintzenhoff wife of Melvin of Oley; sister-in-law
Barbara Houp; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother Leon Houp and sister
Ida Piersol.
