The No. 22 Pittsburgh Panthers will host the No. 12 Miami Hurricanes today in an ACC rivalry matchup.

The Panthers are 8-3 and are still fighting for a spot in the ACC championship game. They’ll need to rely on the results of other conference games, but they’ll definitely need a win against Miami to remain in contention. They’ll be bringing the momentum from their 42-28 victory over No. 23 Georgia Tech last week, in which quarterback Mason Heintschel threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
The Hurricanes are 9-2 and are also fighting to keep their ACC championship hopes alive. They started strong this season, but their losses against Louisville and No. 21 SMU have hurt their standings. They’ll come into Saturday’s rivalry matchup on a three-game winning streak, including a 34-17 victory against Virginia Tech last week.
