Spence Simon is a proud Vietnam Veteran.

A Graduate of Academy High School, he served during the TET Offensive.

TET, was a major escalation and one of the largest military campaigns of the Vietnam War.

Simon was drafted by the U.S. Army out of high school, but his tour of duty quickly changed.

When Simon entered the military, he didn’t know he was color blind.

That led him to the Navy and serving injured infantry soldiers.

Those soldiers hold Medics in high regard.

The Simon family has a rich tradition of serving.

Spencer’s son and grandson have both experienced extended tours of duty.
