Nick Scott, owner of Scott Enterprises, said that CRIZ is a significant help to developments in the Erie area.
He talked about the exciting features that the new hotel will bring.
“This is a very high-end AC Marriott hotel, which is very contemporary and will have some great features, including another rooftop restaurant and a meeting space that looks out over the waterfront, and just a lot of amenities, another rooftop facility, and so forth. So, it’s going to be a very complete and welcome addition to the tourist hotels and the business hotels down here on the bayfront,” Scott said.
Scott said that this plan has been a year in the making. He is excited to break ground in early 2026 and has more development plans to follow.
