A winter storm will bring snow and a wintry mix of rain on Tuesday, beginning at around 3 a.m. and lasting throughout most of the day.

Philly and the rest of the region will experience snowflakes in the early morning hours, but it will turn into a mix of rain and snow by 6 a.m. for most.
Heavy rain can be expected for Philly, Delaware County, Montgomery County, South Jersey and Delaware, with things mostly tapering off by 2 p.m. on Tuesday.

The Lehigh Valley will keep temperatures below freezing, causing more solid snow throughout the day, totaling 1 to 3 inches.
The Poconos will experience even more snow, with the total accumulation between 3 to 5 inches and up to 6 inches at higher elevations.
