Allentown, Pa. – Join Us for the 11th Annual WFMZ-TV & Lehigh Valley Phantoms Coat Drive!
Help keep our community warm this winter by donating new or gently used coats during the 11th Annual WFMZ-TV and Lehigh Valley Phantoms Coat Drive on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the PPL Center in Allentown.
All donated coats will benefit local Salvation Army programs, including the Foster Care and Adoption Program. Organizers say the need is especially great this year—children’s coats are in high demand.
Last year, we collected more than 1,000 coats, and with your help, we’re aiming to beat that number in 2025!
How to Donate:
📍 Where: PPL Center Plaza – 7th & Hamilton Streets, Allentown
🕔 When: Friday, November 14, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
You can bring your coats to the plaza, where familiar faces from 69 News will be on hand to greet you and collect donations.
That night, the Phantoms will be taking on the Springfield Thunderbirds. Not attending the game? No problem! Use the drive-thru drop-off lane on Hamilton Street in front of Tim Horton’s. Volunteers will be there to assist with unloading.
