OBITUARY
Pearl A. (Smith) Schaeffer, 93, of Bernville, passed away Thursday, Nov. 27 th , 2025 at Stone
Ridge Poplar Run. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Schaeffer.
Pearl, a daughter of the late, Norton J. and Edna (Shartle) Smith, was born in Jefferson Twp. She
is survived by three sons, Terry M. Schaeffer, Rodney L. Schaeffer, and Jeff S. Schaeffer; a
daughter, Pamela K. Zimmerman; a brother, Karl H. Smith; a sister, Mildred M. Graeff; seven
grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in
death by four brothers, Arthur D., Gilbert N., Leon I., and Harvey Smith; and three sisters, Dorothy
E. Himmelberger, Rebecca S. and Sally R. Smith.
She was a member of Altalaha Lutheran Church, Rehrersburg.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, Dec. 1 st , at Hill Funeral Home, 111 Godfrey
