Staples to close another store next month in Whitehall Township

The office supplies store chain Staples will once again offers discounts at a closing store in the Lehigh Valley.

The store at the Whitehall Square shopping center at 2180 MacArthur Road in Whitehall Township will close Jan. 2, signage at the store said. It offers 30% discounts for certain in-store purchases.

The signage also directed customers to other stores at 3300 Lehigh St. in Allentown, 2138 W. Union Blvd. in Bethlehem and 4628 Broadway in South Whitehall Township.

The Staples public relations office couldn’t immediately be reached for comment.

Other nearby store closures in roughly the last year include in October in Richland Township and in November 2024 in Lower Nazareth Township.
