Agnes Marie Snead

OBITUARY

With deep love and sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Ms. Agnes Marie Snead on November 15, 2025, at the age of 101. A devoted grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend, Agnes brought warmth, humor, and kindness to all who knew her.

Born in Reading, PA, on January 10, 1924, she was the youngest child of the late Rev. Ernest L. and Florence Myers Davis. A 1942 graduate of Reading High School, Agnes was raised with a strong faith and remained active in Washington Presbyterian Church, serving in multiple ministries during her years in Reading.

She was the proud mother of three sons: Levi, Jerry, and Leonard. Agnes worked in various roles at Reading Hospital. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking, arts and crafts, and cherished time spent with family and friends. She loved cats and embraced her Native American heritage with pride. Known for her playful sense of humor, she often said that sweet red wine and dark chocolate were the secrets to her long life.

Brown (Snead), Rashid T. Snead, Taylor C. Bailey, Leni K. Snead, Anthony S. Jackson S. & Judah S. Calloway, and Kenneth M. Roberts III; bonus great-grandchildren Shawn M.
