At 3 p.m. Thursday Upper Darby fire stations were dispatched to the 2900 block of Larkspur Lane for fire from the back of a house, with evacuation of the residence complete.

The first firefighter was there within a minute or so and reported a single house with smoke showing on a floors one, two and three, according to fire radio traffic.

Lines were stretched and firefighting was ongoing 15 minutes later, and ventilation was ongoing.
