A “top prize-winning ticket” was sold in central Pennsylvania.
And this top prize amounted to over half a million dollars.
According to a press release sent out by the Pennsylvania Lottery, the golden ticket — a Cash Kingdom game — was sold at a 7-Eleven in East Cocalico Township, Lancaster County, on Wednesday.
“Cash Kingdom is [a] $30 Fast Play game that offers progressive top prizes starting at $500,000,” the release reads. “Fast Play games print on-demand from a Lottery sales terminal or self-service touchscreen vending terminal and are similar to Scratch-Off games, but without the need to scratch a ticket or wait for a drawing.”
This ticket in particular resulted in a prize of over $567,992. Who won is still unconfirmed; winners are only identified after prizes are claimed and tickets, validated.
The 7-Eleven that sold the winning ticket will receive a $5,000 bonus for doing so.
