Barley Creek Brewing Company opened its newest taproom location at The Promenade Shops at Saucon Valley last week following an unexpected delay.
The Pocono Mountains-based brewery is bringing its craft beers, handcrafted cocktails, and scratch-made food to the Lehigh Valley with Barley Creek Taproom Saucon. The location will operate as a full restaurant and bar, serving wood-fired pizzas, burgers, appetizers, and pub fare.
“We’re beyond excited to open our doors in the Lehigh Valley,” said Stephanie Rath, CEO of Barley Creek Brewing Company. “Our team has worked hard to create a space that brings the spirit of Barley Creek to a brand-new community—just in time for the holidays.”
The taproom is located next to Kome at the shopping center in Upper Saucon Township and will be open seven days a week. Hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11:01 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11:01 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Barley Creek Brewing Company was founded in 1995 as the Pocono Mountains’ original brewpub. The company has expanded to include multiple locations under the Barley Creek Hospitality Group, including Barley Creek Distillery, a taproom at Pocono Premium Outlets, and 1818 Deli & Catering.
