Water main break reported in Upper Saucon Township

Crews are responding to a water main break Tuesday morning in Lehigh County.

Upper Saucon Township police said about 9 a.m. that public works crews are responding to a break in the area of Camp Meeting and East Valley roads. The road is open but limited to one lane of traffic.

The township said nearby residents and businesses may be affected by the break. Effects include lower water pressure, temporary water loss and discolored water once service is restored, according to the township.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area so crews can work on the break.
