Bethlehem will sparkle with a great purpose this Christmas season, as “The Stars of Bethlehem Holiday Concert and Reception” will take center stage Dec. 16 at the historic Chapel of Central Moravian Church and Hotel Bethlehem.
The fundraiser will benefit The Freezer Ministry and Garden Gatherers, so they may continue and grow their No-Cost Farmers Market Program.
In the past three years, the program has provided 435,000 pounds of vegetables and fruit to 11 Bethlehem community or Title 1 elementary and middle school students and their families.
Concerts will be performed in the chapel at Central Moravian from 3 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8 p.m. and will feature BASD Northeast Singers, Kristen Morgenstern and Bethlehem Area Moravian Trombone Choir.
The receptions will take place from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the mural room and veranda of Hotel Bethlehem, featuring hors d’oeuvres and beverages with music by Dolcetto Trio.
