OBITUARY
Stanley Gorczyk, 60, of Dickson City, PA, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, service, and generosity. Born in Scranton on December 31, 1964, Stanley lived a life defined by his heart of gold and an unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.
A familiar face throughout the Dickson City community, Stanley was deeply loved by all who knew him. His dedication to serving others shone through his volunteer work at the Dickson City American Legion Post 665, Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, and Eagle Hose Company #1. Whether lending a hand, sharing a smile, or offering support, Stanley made a lasting impact on countless lives.
Stanley is survived by his loving sister, Diane Gorczyk, who will forever cherish his memory and his cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Stanley, and his mother, Mary.
A private cremation has taken place at Miller Bean Funeral Home. A Mass in Stanley’s honor will be held on December 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Dickson City. There will be no visitation prior to the Mass.
Stanley will be greatly missed, but the warmth, compassion, and friendship he shared will live on in the community he loved so dearly.
