An investigation is ongoing, officials said, after a man’s body was found laying in a creek in Upper Chichester Township, over the weekend.
According to police, officers in Delaware County responded to a report of a possibly deceased person behind Stanley Court in Upper Chichester Township at about 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025.
Here, officials said, the officers discovered the body of a man, believed to be 30 to 40 years old, laying on his back in a creek.
He was pronounced at the scene, officials said.
Police have not provided further information about the individual’s identity as they seek the man’s next of kin.
An investigation into this incident, officials said, is ongoing.
Also, officials said they are seeking help from the public in this case.
Police are asking anyone who may have observed suspicious activity in this area or possess information that is related to this incident, to contact the Upper Chichester Township Police Department.
