According to PennDOT, Pittston Ave in Scranton (Rt 11) has reopened to traffic.
3:00 p.m.
PennDOT has ended the temporary speed and travel restrictions put in place during Tuesday’s winter storm, restoring normal speed limits across several major highways in the region.
The department had reduced speeds to 45 mph on portions of Interstate 78, Interstate 80, Interstate 380, U.S. 22, and Route 33, and required commercial vehicles to use the right lane only. With conditions improving, those measures have now been lifted.
Crews are still out treating roads, and PennDOT says they will continue working until all highways are fully cleared.

Multi-vehicle crash on I-81 northbound has forced a lane restriction, .4 miles south of Exit 182: MONTAGE MOUNTAIN RD TO DAVIS ST.
1:54 p.m.
I-80 near mile marker 218 has reopened, according to the Valley Township Fire Department. Crews were forced to remove both doors on a tractor-trailer to gain patient access.

Stockton Mountain Road in Hazle Twp is closed and completely snow-covered. Police have blocked the roadway from further traffic.

I-80 is closed at mile marker 298.3 SCOTRUN and TANNERSVILLE due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer.

Jackknifed tractor-trailer has Rt, 309 North Crossvalley closed in Shavertown at the rockcut.
A jackknifed tractor-trailer is blocking the road right at the Moosic exit on Interstate 81 (unsure if it is north or south) near mile marker 182 in Moosic, Lackawanna County.

Crash on I-80 westbound between Exit 224: PA 54 – DANVILLE and Exit 215: PA 254 – LIMESTONEVILLE. All lanes closed.

Interstate 80 remains closed at mile marker 178 in Lamar Township to mile marker 192.
Emergency crews are currently on the scene of a vehicle accident at Interstate 80 Mile Marker 192 East Bound. The roadway is shut down.

Hazleton Police remind residents that a snow ban is in effect. During active snowfall, when you see a BLUE or YELLOW sign: “NO PARKING ODD SEASON.” Parking Permitted on RED Sign Side Only.
10:55 a.m.
A multi-vehicle crash shut down a stretch of Interstate 80 eastbound on Tuesday, affecting drivers in Clinton, Union, and Northumberland counties.
State transportation officials said the eastbound lanes are closed between the Route 220 interchange at Exit 178 and Exit 212A for Route 147 near Milton. Traffic is being detoured onto Route 220 and Interstate 180 while crews respond to the scene.
PennDOT noted that plow and treatment crews have been working throughout the storm, but warned that roads may still be slick as snowfall and icing continue. The agency said it will keep treating highways until the winter weather clears and conditions improve.

Several stuck tractor-trailers on Routes 44 and 54; both roadways are now closed to all traffic in North Central Pennsylvania.
10:40 a.m.
Scranton city streets are reported to be snow-covered and slippery. Multiple vehicles were stuck on the hills approaching Minooka on Pittston Ave/Rt 11. The road is closed, and a utility pole is down between Davis and Warner streets. PennDOT expects the road to be closed until 8 a.m. Wednesday.
