Eileen Miner will be serving up to five years for defrauding clients across four Pennsylvania counties.

LACKAWANNA COUNTY, Pa. — A woman is locked up after being sentenced for theft charges.

Investigators say a Lackawanna County-based travel agent for Thompson Tours, Eileen Miner, will serve up to five years in county jail for defrauding clients.

She collected money from customers for trips, then cancelled them and never provided refunds. Miner pleaded guilty to 35 felony theft charges and other offenses back in September. 

In addition to jail time, Miner also faces 35 years of probation, 380 hours of community service, and has to pay more than $200,000 in restitution in Lackawanna County.
