Friends and family of Neil Husvar, who passed away recently, organized “Hardcore for Husvar,” an event to honor Neil’s memory through music performances from some of his favorite local bands. The event also raised awareness around mental health and suicide prevention as well as raising $2,000 for NAMI Northeast Region PA to help the organization raise awareness, educate, advocate and offer support to individuals living with a mental illness and family members of individuals with a mental illness.
