The Berks County 4-H Dairy Judging Team recently competed at the North American International Livestock Expo 4-H Dairy Judging Contest in Louisville, Ky.

The team earned the opportunity to compete at this National 4-H Dairy Judging Contest because they placed 2nd in the Pennsylvania 4-H Dairy Judging Contest in June 2025.

Consisting of Connor and Alexis Servin of Bernville, Wyatt Lehner of Mohrsville and Addison Nolan of Lebanon, they were coached by 4-H volunteers Raechel Sattazahn and Brandon Grumbine. They have been working hard, practicing, studying, and preparing as a team for this competition.

Dairy judging is evaluating dairy animals for desirable dairy conformation.

At the North American International Livestock Expo 4-H Dairy Judging Contest in November, the team placed 7th out of 20 teams. They also placed 9th in oral reasons, 2nd in the Ayrshire class, 3rd in the Guernsey class, and 4th in the Jersey class. Individually, Wyatt placed 2nd in the Guernsey class, 8th in the Ayrshire class, and 13th in oral reasons; Connor placed 2nd in the Jersey class and 11th overall.
