Harcum College’s defense smothered Lackawanna College in an 86-29 victory Thursday in a NJCAA Region 19 Division II women’s basketball game at the Lackawanna Student Union.
The No. 8-ranked Bears forced 26 turnovers and held Lackawanna to 19.2-percent shooting (10 for 52).
Alania Ortiz led the Lady Falcons (2-2 region, 3-6 overall) with 13 points and seven rebounds. Ali Johns chipped in seven points.
