SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA CO. (WOLF) — Scranton police announced the arrest of a juvenile following a stabbing investigation.

The Scranton Police Department said that on Dec. 3 around 6 p.m., officers responded to the 200 block of South Hyde Park Avenue for a report of a 21-year-old male stabbed in the chest by a 15-year-old male.

The two allegedly got into an argument over a video game, which led to a fight.

The teenager fled the scene but was taken into custody a short time later, police said. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The juvenile was charged with assault and reckless endangerment.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and additional criminal charges may be filed.
