St. Ann’s Basilica, Scranton, was the setting Sept. 13, 2025, for the wedding of Brittany Marie Strausser, Madison Twp., and William David Orasin, Forest City. The bride is the daughter of Brian and Gayle Strausser, Madison Twp. The bridegroom is the son of William T. and Nancy Orasin, Forest City.
The Rev. Seth D. Wasnock officiated at the 1 p.m. ceremony.

Brooklyn VanBuskirk, Scranton, niece of the bride and bridegroom, was flower girl.

The bride is a graduate of North Pocono High School and Moravian University. She is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and is employed as an associate actuary at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies in Wilkes-Barre.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Forest City Regional High School and the University of Scranton. He is employed as a manager in data and analytics at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies, Wilkes-Barre.
The couple met while working at Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies.
The couple, who took a wedding trip to Italy, resides in Madison Twp.
