Announcement is made of the engagement and upcoming wedding of Elly Catherine Peck, Scranton, to Tyler Daniel Alcover, St. Petersburg, Florida.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Edward and Marcy Peck, Scranton.
Elly, a 2020 alumna of Scranton High School, graduated from Penn State University in 2025 with a bachelor’s degree in health policy and administration. She is employed by Oak Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Ray Petitpren and Sue Alcover, St. Petersburg. Tyler graduated from Northeast High School in St. Petersburg, in 2019. After completing his service in the United States Navy, he relocated to Pennsylvania and is currently employed with Prestige Disposal as a diesel mechanic.
Elly and Tyler have been together since childhood and maintained a long-distance relationship for several years. Tyler relocated to Pennsylvania last year, allowing the couple to finally begin their lives together in the same place.
The wedding is set for May 17, 2026, at the Inne of the Abingtons.
