SALISBURY TWP., Pa. – It’s Music Monday once again on 69 News at Sunrise, and we’re getting into the holiday spirit Monday morning.
Philadelphia’s own Laura and Michelle Cheadle joined Eve Russo in the studio.
They say their new Christmas song is about peace and equality. They say they wrote it in about an hour.
“It was meant to be,” Laura said.
Laura said the song, “All The Peace For Christmas,” had been in her head for a while.
The song has a joyful acoustic vibe, she said.
The band is on a holiday tour to promote the new song. They will be performing at the Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia Tuesday and Jamey’s House of Music in Lansdowne on Dec. 19.
They also created a music video that has been popular on social media.
