At The LGBT Center of Greater Reading, we are proud to serve our LGBTQ+ community — but our reach extends far beyond that. We are here for everyone in greater Reading. Our mission is grounded in compassion, connection and community service.

Through strong partnerships with local organizations, we help secure housing, food, veterans resources and more for those in need. Often, we are the place people turn when there is nowhere else to go — a light in the dark, offering hope and help without hesitation.

We’re the ones with boots on the ground — asking questions, finding answers, and refusing to give up until someone gets the support they deserve. If we don’t have the solution, we find someone who does.

Our doors are open to all. We offer community showers Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (opening at noon on Wednesdays) and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We host a Warm Meal Wednesday every second Wednesday of the month from 5 to 7 p.m., and our food pantry operates the first and third Fridays each month from 110 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Our name may say “LGBT,” but our heart says “community.” We’re here to serve — because everyone deserves a place to turn.
