BETHLEHEM TWP., Pa.- A Northampton County shopping center has a new owner.
Southmont Plaza at 4423 Birkland Place in Bethlehem Township is one of three properties being sold by the Ohio-based SITE Centers Corporation.
That’s according to JLL Capital Markets, which represented SITE Centers in the deal. The $126 million sale also includes East Hanover Plaza in East Hanover, New Jersey, and Stow Community Center in Stow, Ohio.
The buyer is Haverford Retail Partners of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, a real estate firm that owns several shopping plazas in the Northeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic.

Southmont Plaza, which opened in 2004 near Freemansburg Avenue and Route 33, has 250,939 square feet of restaurant and retail space. Its roster of current tenants includes Dick’s Sporting Goods, Best Buy, Lowe’s, Ross Dress for Less, Barnes & Noble, Michaels, Texas Roadhouse and Panera Bread.
The sale has not yet been recorded in Northampton County property records. Southmont Plaza was sold to SITE Centers (then DDR Corp.) for $53.7 million in 2015.
