Johnson College in Scranton hosted its eighth annual district SkillsUSA competition, which tests students’ occupational skills in architectural drafting, building construction, cabinetmaking, carpentry, diesel equipment technology, electronics technology, HVAC, industrial motor control, precision machining and welding fabrication. More than 200 high school students from the region competed for the opportunity to move to the state-level competition.
