Police say 3 people stabbed, suspect in custody in Scranton

SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Scranton Police told 28/22 News Tuesday night that three people were stabbed and a potential suspect is in custody.

28/22 News was there Tuesday night, as several police cars were seen at the corner of Wyoming Avenue and Penn Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

The Scranton Police Department says they’re investigating a stabbing at the Jermyn Apartments on Biden Street on Tuesday night.

Authorities say there is an active investigation and no current threat to the public.
