BLACK AND WHITE HELMET. IT IS A CHANCE TO HONOR THOSE WHO HAVE SERVED OUR COUNTRY OVER THE HOLIDAY SEASON. THIS AFTERNOON AT THE STATE CAPITOL, SENATOR DEVLIN ROBINSON HOSTED PENNSYLVANIA’S WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA CEREMONY. THE 36 INCH LIVE BALSAM WREATH, COMPLETE WITH THE FLAGS OF EACH MILITARY BRANCH AND THE POW MIA FLAG, SERVES AS A TRIBUTE TO THE COURAGE, COMMITMENT AND SACRIFICE OF OUR NATION’S VETERANS. IT’S ALSO A REMINDER OF THEIR ENDURING DEDICATION TO COUNTRY, COMMUNITY, AND FAMILY. WE WILL NEVER FORGET THEM. WE WON’T LET THEM DIE THAT SECOND DEATH BECAUSE WE WILL SAY THEIR NAMES. WE WILL REMEMBER THEIR FACES, AND WE’LL REMEMBER ALL THEY HAVE DONE. THE CEREMONY WAS ALSO MEANT TO BRING AWARENESS AND ENCOURAGE VOLUNTEERS TO TAKE PART IN THE NATIONAL WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA DAY, AND THAT IS HAPPENING ON SATURDAY. VOLUNTEERS LAY A WREATH ON THE HEADSTONES OF FALLEN SERVICE MEMBERS AND SAY THEIR NAMES OUT
