WEST READING, Pa. – Authorities say a West Reading man is under arrest and facing multiple charges related to drug trafficking.
In April, Berks County Detectives began an investigation into alleged drug trafficking in the 300 block Chestnut Street, West Reading.
Detectives say that investigation led them to 36-year-old Eric Emilio Delacruz, who is charged with multiple counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and related offenses.
On Thursday, the Berks County Drug Task Force served a search warrant in the 300 block of Chestnut and seized the following items:
· 735 grams of cocaine with a potential street value of $36,750.00
· 744 fentanyl pills with a potential street value of $7,440.00
· 24 grams of methamphetamine with a potential street value of $480.00
· 300 grams of marijuana with a potential street value of $1,500.00
· Drug paraphernalia including scales and packaging material
· Over $20,000 in US currency
Delacruz is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
He is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
