Christopher Frank Colombo II
OBITUARY
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher Frank Colombo II, a beloved husband, son, step father and friend, who departed this life on December 5, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on January 7, 1986, in Scranton, Chris was a cherished member of the Abington community, where he spent much of his life.
Chris graduated from Abington Heights High School in 2004 and went on to earn a construction engineering degree from Penn State.
Chris was a dedicated professional in the construction industry, working at his self made company Colombo Excavating LLC, where his hard work and integrity made a lasting impact. He took great pride in his craft, often going above and beyond to ensure that every project was completed with care and precision. His spirit of determination and commitment will be remembered by all who had the privilege of working alongside him.
Chris loved going to any sporting event and really found peace at Lavalette Beach.
Beyond his professional life, Chris was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Courtney Robinson Colombo. Together, they shared dreams and built a life filled with love and laughter through many of life’s challenges. Chris was a remarkable role model to his step children Brody and Kieran Gallagher.
Chris loved all animals, especially cats.
Chris, in addition to his wife, is survived by his parents, Christopher and Diane (Petty) Colombo; his siblings, Peanie Johnson (Chad), Cassie Colombo (fianc Jon Pringle), and Nick Colombo (fianc Avery Fiorillo); his nephews, Beau and Ty Johnson; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Shirley Petty; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Susan Colombo.
The funeral will be private at the convenience of the family.

Chris’s care has been entrusted to Jennings-Calvey and their on site crematory, Clarks Summit.
