EASTON, Pa. – The spirit of giving was in full swing on Sunday in Easton.
Project Hope of Easton welcomed families to its annual holiday celebration.
Volunteers, donors and others teamed up to hand out holiday meals, gifts, books, bookbags and winter coats.
Santa also stopped by to take pictures with the kids.
For Project Hope’s chairperson, it’s the happiest day of the year.
“I just love it, I especially of course love to see the children smiling and happy and when they see Santa coming in, they just get so excited and for some of them, this is the only present they’re going to get. And that’s very precious for me and for them,” said Judith Walker, chairperson of Project Hope of Easton.Â
In all, Project Hope expected to help more than 300 people Sunday.
This was their 37th event.
