A 24-year-old man suspected of shooting his mother to death in her Maryland home last week has been arrested in Pennsylvania, police say.

Damari Lipscomb was charged with killing 45-year-old Adia Lipscomb Mingo, Prince George’s County police said in a release on Monday.

Mingo was found dead just before 9 a.m. Thursday at her home on Westchester Court in Temple Hills, police said.

Investigators said Lipscomb likely shot his mother over an ongoing argument. Police haven’t given any other details about the possible motive or circumstances that led up to the shooting.

Several police agencies worked to track down Libscomb and arrest him. It’s unclear where in Pennsylvania he was arrested.

Detectives are asking anyone with more information to call 301-516-2512.
