BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A Bethlehem woman has been arrested in connection with a serious crash in Lehigh Township that authorities say was caused by aggressive driving while under the influence, according to Northampton County District Attorney Stephen G. Baratta.

Hannah Lipkin was arrested following a Sept. 7, 2025, crash on Riverview Drive in Lehigh Township. Police said Lipkin was traveling south when her vehicle crossed into the northbound lane and struck other vehicles, seriously injuring another motorist.

Lehigh Township police officers responded to the scene and later reviewed dashcam footage from a bystander that captured the collision. Investigators also obtained additional rear-facing dashcam video showing Lipkin’s driving in the moments leading up to the crash.

According to the district attorney’s office, the footage shows Lipkin making an illegal turn from a McDonald’s parking lot onto Main Street in Walnutport Borough before merging onto Route 145. The video allegedly depicts her driving on the center yellow lines, accelerating and tailgating another vehicle, driving on the shoulder and swerving back and forth with abrupt movements.

At one point, authorities said, Lipkin’s vehicle was so close to the other car that the dashcam captured her taking both hands off the steering wheel, placing them on her head and appearing to yell. The footage later shows Lipkin continuing to weave between the center line and shoulder before driving the wrong way in the northbound lane and causing the collisions.

Police obtained a warrant to test Lipkin’s blood, which allegedly revealed the presence of alcohol, THC, cocaine and the cocaine byproduct benzoylecgonine.

Lipkin is charged with aggravated assault by vehicle, aggravated assault by vehicle while driving under the influence, six counts of DUI,and multiple summary offenses related to aggressive driving.

She was arraigned Dec. 12, 2025, before Magisterial District Judge Hawke, who set bail at $50,000.

Baratta said his office is committed to combating aggressive driving and road rage by prioritizing enforcement and accountability for dangerous driving behaviors, including speeding, tailgating and weaving through traffic.

All further inquiries were directed to the Northampton County District Attorney’s Office.
