ROSS TOWNSHIP, PA — Two more teens have been charged in connection with a gunfire battle outside of Ross Park Mall last month.
Myshawn Scott, 16, of East Hills, was charged with aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and gun charges on Wednesday. He surrendered to authorities on Thursday.
WPXI-TV reported that two other juveniles who exchanged in the barrage of bullets now are facing charges. They are being charged as juveniles and have not been identified.
Authorities said a teen arrived at Allegheny General Hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen shortly after the shooting incident on Sept. 30.
Police reviewed surveillance video of the shooting and provided Pittsburgh Public Schools Police with a photo of the shooter. They were able to identify Scott as the suspect in the shooting.
Police said Scott and the victim attend the same high school. The victim apparently is one of the other two teens who participated in the gun battle and now is facing charges.
