Two suspects tried to rob an armored vehicle in Northeast Philadelphia but ran off when the driver fired several shots.
This is at least the sixth armored truck incident in or around the city since June.
It happened at a Wawa near the intersection of Frankford and Sheffield in the city’s Holmesburg neighborhood.
