CENTRE COUNTY, Pa (WJAC) — Over the course of the next few weekends, the Pennsylvania Military Museum, in Boalsburg, will be conducting special guided tours to commemorate the courage of several local veterans.
This Saturday, from 1 to 3 p.m., visitors will have the opportunity to hear about the armored vehicles that traveled into the heart of the fiercest battles.
Then, next weekend, October 24 and 25th — visitors will be able to pause and reflect on the true cost of freedom, with guided tours of the Pennsylvania’s 28th Division National Shrine and the graves of soldiers in the Boalsburg Cemetery.
The cemetery tour takes place next Friday evening, from 7 until 8 p.m. — and the shrine tour will be held next Saturday, also from 7 until 8 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased online at the museum’s website.
