CRANBERRY, PA — Mission BBQ, a national restaurant chain already with a Pittsburgh presence, will open its latest location later this month.

The new eatery will open at 20229 Route 19 in Cranberry. The official debut will be on Oct. 28 at noon.

However, those seeking a sneak preview can attend the restaurant’s Military Appreciation Night on Oct. 24 from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. All sales go to the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation and the first 100 people to purchase an American Heroes Cup will receive free barbecue for a year.

Mission has 13 locations in Pennsylvania, including two in the Pittsburgh area: Robinson and Monroeville.

The restaurant serves standard barbecue fare such as brisket, pulled pork, turkey, pulled chicken and sausage. Also available are smoked salmon, baby back ribs and smoked cheeseburgers.
