SCRANTON, Pa. — Another PennDOT project also wrapped up on Thursday in Lackawanna County.
The Green Ridge Street bridge in Scranton reopened around 7:30 p.m. The nearly $ 20 million project to replace the bridge began late last year.
The state said it had to be replaced, or accept a weight limit that would have cut off truck traffic to the nearby shopping plaza.
Drivers had been using a temporary bridge here on Green Ridge Street in Scranton.
