One person was killed and two people were injured Friday morning in a shooting in Allentown, according to authorities.

City police said officers were called to the 1300 block of Hanover Avenue for a report of a shooting. Investigators determined there was a fight inside Big Woody’s restaurant that led to the shooting.

When police arrived, they found two people with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to a nearby hospital, where one died from his injuries. The other is expected to survive his injuries, according to a department news release. Not long after, a third person arrived at a nearby hospital for treatment of injuries from the same incident, police said. He was treated and is expected to survive his injuries.

Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio said the man who died was a 34-year-old from Allentown. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday morning.

The investigation is ongoing. The department said there is no danger to the community.
