Police and emergency medical crews in the Midvalley are on the scene of a multiple-vehicle crash on an icy Casey Highway in Archbald.
Police reported slippery conditions and several cars off the road around mile marker 8.6 in both the east and west directions. The wreck was first reported just before 2:30 p.m.
Crews from Archbald, Mayfield, Jessup and Jermyn are responding, and police say traffic is becoming a problem.
