David W. Bainbridge
OBITUARY
David W. Bainbridge, 65, of Green Ridge, died Wednesday December 17, 2025 at the Geisinger C.M.C. His wife 41 years is the former Ann Marie Dozack.
Born in Scranton he was the son of the late John and Dorothy Reuther Bainbridge. A graduate of Scranton Central High School, Class of 1978, prior to retirement he was a civilian employee for the Tobyhanna Army Depot.
David was an accomplished bowler earning membership to the Professional Bowlers Association. He bowled numerous 300 and 800 games. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. A true gearhead, he loved working on cars and going to the dirt track to race. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are daughters Stacey Pyatt and husband John, Lake Ariel, Amy Bainbridge, Scranton; son Will Bainbridge and wife Sarah, Scranton; grandchildren Ayla, John, and Angelo Pyatt, Caleb, Emma, and Ronan Bainbridge; sister Kendra Lewis, Scranton; also daughters Annette and Jen, additional grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Dave’s life will be held Monday from 4-6 pm in the Miller Bean Funeral Home Inc., 436 Cedar Ave., Scranton. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at donate.cancer.org.
