READING, PA. – The Reading Royals defending home ice and a three-game win streak Friday night against the Thunder.
The Royals get the scoring started midway through the first. It’s Connor McMenamin finding the back of the net, 1-0.
Later in the period, Carson Golder lights the lamp for the Royals off the assists by Carter Berger and Ty Voit. Reading would score 3 in the period to take a 3-0 lead into the second period.
The Thunder strike back in the second. Luke Reid nets one off the assists by Gavin Yates and Grant Loven, 3-1.
The Royals hold off a late Thunder surge to win, 5-3.
