NORTHAMPTON, Pa. – Santa got up bright and early to spend some time with the residents of Renaissance Senior Home in Northampton.
Residents and their families came together to enjoy some hot cocoa, cookies and create some holiday ornaments.
This was the first breakfast with Santa that Renaissance hosted — and it was important to the staff to create an environment for residents enjoy the holiday.
“I try to decorate the building because it’s their home. I wanna make sure that every day they get to see a tree lit up, or presents underneath, and just have time with their families because a lot of them don’t get to go out so it’s a good chance for them to come here and spend the holiday with them,” said Leeshia Rehrig, administrator at the senior home.
Families also got a chance to take some photos with Santa as well.
