Leading by seven after three quarters, West Scranton pulled away in the fourth quarter to beat visiting Lakeland, 64-41, in a nonleague girls basketball game Saturday and earn their first win of the season.

Aubrey Kerrigan led the Lady Invaders (1-5) with 22 points, 12 of which came in the fourth quarter. Sahmira Menifee added 20 points.

Kamri Naniewicz had 11 points for Lakeland (3-4). Naomi Rude chipped in 10 points for the Lady Chiefs.

Loyalsock 56, North Pocono 49: At Loyalsock, Alaina Dadzie scored 34 points to lead the Lady Lancers to a nonleague victory over No. 1 North Pocono.

Dadzie had 27 of her points in the first half, including 18 in the second quarter when Loyalsock (4-3) built a 34-25 halftime lead.

Ella Clementoni paced the Lady Trojans (5-2) with 18 points. Anna Clementoni followed with 12 points.

York William Penn 42, Scranton 40: At Springfield, Scranton had a fourth-quarter comeback bid fall short in a nonleague loss to York William Penn at the Keystone Classic at Cardinal O’Hara High School.

William Penn jumped out to a nine-point lead in the first quarter and took a 34-29 lead into the fourth.

But Chrissy Jacklinski scored five points and Rhylee Bell four in the fourth quarter to get Scranton within two. However, the Lady Knights weren’t able to get the tying basket.

Bell finished with a game-high 19 points for Scranton (1-6). Abigail Stalica grabbed nine rebounds.

Kimora Hawkins topped William Penn (3-1) with 15 points.

Dunmore 61, Berwick 32: At Berwick, Jackie Brown led four players in double figures with 17 points as Dunmore romped to a nonleague victory.

Leena Conte added 14 points for the No. 3 Lady Bucks (5-1). Janessa Martin had 11 points and Amanda Dempsey chipped in with 10.

Abby Calarco scored 20 points for Berwick (4-3).
