LEHIGH VALLEY, Pa. – The countdown to Christmas is in its final days, and prominent Lehigh Valley markets are amping up operations to help individuals check off their to-do lists.
Easton Public Market, Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market and Slatington Farmers Market are all offering extended holiday hours to help individuals score last-minute holiday gifts and treats.

The multi-vendor markets offer a wide array of fresh produce, baked goods, deli meats and cheeses, prepared meals, craft beverages, handmade gifts and more.
Easton Public Market

Allentown Fairgrounds Farmers Market, established in 1953 and featuring more than 50 local merchants, is normally open Thursday through Saturday year-round.
Slatington Farmers Market
On Dec. 3, select vendors of Slatington Farmers Market, at 8281 Route 873 in Washington Township, Lehigh County, introduced extended holiday hours of Wednesday through Sunday.
Previously, the market was open Friday through Sunday only.

This week, select vendors will operate on Wednesday, Dec. 24, and the market will be closed on Dec. 25, market manager Amanda Ahlers said. The market will then reopen on Dec. 26 and continue operating through Dec. 28.
Vendors that debuted expanded hours earlier this month include: Slatedale Discount Provisions, Slatedale Homestyle Foods, Blue Ridge Farm Bakery & Bagel Shop, Illumination Brewing, Stone Lake Winery, Market Brew Coffee Shop, Papa Bear Designs, Happy Dayz, 3W Eatery, Green Dice Games, Serendipitous Boutique, Artist of Only Trees, The Makery & Refillery and Jenny’s Ice Cream & Acai Bowls.
Customers should check individual vendors’ social media pages for specific operating hours this week.
Slatedale Discount Provisions operates at the Slatington Farmers Market in Washington Township, Lehigh County.

The Slatington Farmers Market, which opened in June 2022, features around two dozen vendors.
