The First Alert Weather Team is closely watching a wintery mix for our area Tuesday morning.
Our region will see increasing clouds Monday night before a quick-moving system brings rain and snow showers to the region after midnight.
Expect mainly snow showers north of the PA Turnpike, a wintry mix of rain and snow showers up and down the I-95 corridor and mostly plain rain for South Jersey and Delaware.
The First Alert is in effect for southeastern PA and Mercer county, NJ from 4am-11am on Tuesday.




The afternoon will be dry but cloudy with a high around 40. Expect a mostly sunny sky and warmer conditions on Wednesday with a high near 50 before more clouds take over for Christmas day. Another wintry mix is possible for the day after Christmas into Saturday morning.
