1 dead following shooting in lower Florence Co.

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — A death investigation is underway following a shooting Wednesday morning.

It happened at a home near Bozy Road in the Scranton area of Florence County, according to Florence County Sheriff T.J. Joye.

Joye said a man died in the shooting.

They’re in the early stages of the investigation, but the incident is being handled as a homicide at this time.
